Why have you changed to a GP practice?

• To ensure our health centre can continue to operate long term.

• To provide better access to a GP locally.

 

Can I enrol with you?

• Yes, however some funded health programmes require patients to live in Hawkes' Bay so some eligibility for some services may vary if you live outside the region. Please get in touch if you would like to know more.

 

I have been seeing Jane/Mohan recently – can I still see them?

• Dr Mohan no longer works with us.  If you are enrolled with him at Tuki Tuki, please see him there.

• To see Dr Jane, you need to be enrolled with us.
   

If am enrolled elsewhere, can I still come into Takapau Health Centre if I am unwell?

• Your first contact should be your own GP. 

• You can contact us for a nurse triage appointment, where they will help you access the care you need. Casual fee rates will apply.

• You may be able to use our on-line GP booth.  Casual fee rates will apply.

 

Why are you increasing your fees?

• Our fees are in-line with local GP practices.  We try to be affordable and sustainable.
